Torreon Home

This mountain home emodies many principles that our company and our clients value. It is a small home, 1200 square feet, with an adjacent one car garage that also houses a required water tank. The layout is open but bedrooms are isolated from each other to provide privacy. This is a small second home for a retired couple. The home has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The home has many open decks, places to enjoy views and entertain guests.

The home is constructed of Polysteel, an insulated block form that is filled with concrete. While the insulative value is high it was really the concern over fire from the adjacent forested landscape that drove the selection of this product. The home is heated with a small pellet stove.
